DECEMBER 2011 - Workers installed tennis screen material on fencing surrounding equipment storage on Kanan Road to minimize visual impact.

Workers constructed rebar around the tank inlet and outlet pipes prior to encasing them in concrete.

The trench was then filled with concrete, leaving the tops of the pipes exposed for connection to the tank floor.

Industrial-strength plastic was laid out on the floor of the reservoir site to serve as a moisture barrier

A perimeter pipeline was installed to convey water into a drainage canal in the unlikely event of a leak.

Workers took delivery of pipeline that will connect the new reservoir to existing water main along Kanan Road.
